We celebrate our 20th birthday with Expocaça 2008!

In 2008, as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of EXPOCAÇA, we want to offer an even bigger and quality event, always with the main objective of contributing to its efficacy.
This year is, surely, also a turning point in the definition of many of the rules and norms in the sector of Hunting and Arms. EXPOCAÇA 2008 wants to contribute also to the enlighten of all the intervenient in the sector, from the manufacturers, traders and Associative leaders to the final users.

Expocaça 2007 was a sucess!

Terminou a Expocaça 2007, que foi, novamente, um êxito, com o número de visitantes a aumentar para cerca de 39.500 pessoas. Apesar dos inúmeros problemas que o sector atravessa, os perto de 190 Expositores presentes mostraram-se extremamente satisfeitos com a sua participação

Since 1989 making history…Today Expocaça is the most important and biggest hunting exhibition either in Portugal and Spain and one of the most important European Hunting Events.

1989
For the first time in Portugal an Hunting Exhibition is organized. Place: Forum Picoas, Lisbon. Participation – 30 exhibitors.

1990 e 1991
Expocaça is realized in Tapada da Ajuda, Lisbon, with more than 50 exhibitors.

1992 a 1995
Expocaça became a Country Show, realized at the Hipodrome of Quinta da Marinha, Cascais. The success was great, with the participation of over 70 exhibitors and about 20.000 visitors.

1996... Since this year, Expocaça is being held at Santarém – in the center of Portugal – due to the excellent facilities of Centro Nacional de Exposições. With this change, the results of the exhibition, in what concerns the number of exhibitors and visitors, has been growing every year - in 2005 the number of exhibitors was of more than 230, and the visitors more than 45.000.
