We began with 32 Exhibitors in 1989, today – 20 years later – there are about 250 firms and institutions that participate in EXPOCAÇA.

Through these 20 years, EXPOCAÇA, has contributed in an important way to the recent history of hunting in Portugal.

For the last 20 years we have been debating and looking for solutions, to reach an effective National Hunting Sector, in which EXPOCAÇA has had as important role.

We want to continue, for many more years, to contribute to the development of the Hunting and Arms sector in Portugal. Our efforts will always be towards adapting EXPOCAÇA to the needs of the sector, trying to improve and give more quality to all future editions of EXPOCAÇA.

We think it is really important to keep and improve the partnerships with the main intervenient in this sector – FENCAÇA, ANPC, Clube Português de Monteiros, Associação dos Armeiros de Portugal, Calibre 12, Caça e Cães de Caça e Turcaça magazines, and so many others that, have collaborated with us for the development of the sector.

In 2008, as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of EXPOCAÇA, we want to offer an even bigger and quality event, always with the main objective of contributing to its efficacy.

This year is, surely, also a turning point in the definition of many of the rules and norms in the sector of Hunting and Arms. EXPOCAÇA 2008 wants to contribute also to the enlighten of all the intervenient in the sector, from the manufacturers, traders and Associative leaders to the final users.
